About Phil

Phil's radio journey began 31 years ago when he had the chance to present on BFBS in Gibraltar, volunteering for three and a half years before leaving. After returning to the UK, Phil stayed connected to his passion for music while pursuing other careers, thinking his radio days were behind him. That all changed this year when he started presenting again in Carlisle as a volunteer, which led to him joining the Breakfast show on True Radio.

In addition to radio, Phil has contributed to two BBC DIY SOS projects with Nick Knowles, one in Peterborough for Children in Need and another in Abbey Town, Cumbria. His successful business ventures have given him the freedom to explore his love for radio broadcasting further.
